William Slater

President & CEO of Slater Technologies, Inc. is based in Chicago, IL. He is an experienced, certified, seasoned and published IT professional with more than four decades of experience.  Presently he works as the CTO and  CISO of the Marketing Organization (San Diego, CA), and he has several projects including Blockchain, AI, and Quantum Computing.  Mr. Slater is a patriotic American and a former U.S. Air Force Cyberwarrior. 

He has been an Adjunct Professor for over 15 years, and holds three master’s degrees, (including an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Bellevue University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix), and 88 professional certifications, including CISSP. CISA, and PMP.  His professional experience also includes: the U.S. Air Force, Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, Northrop, Digital Equipment Corporation, BP, Department of Veterans Affairs, Microsoft, IBM, and McDonald’s.  He is a member of (ISC)2, PMI, ISACA,  the Internet Society (since 1998), and a founding member of QSECDEF.

Mr. Slater has been very happily married to Ms. Joanna Roguska (a native of Warsaw, Poland) since December 2000.  He is a devoted husband, a Christian, a writer, a musician, and a 2nd Degree Black Belt and certified instructor in Kodokan Judo.
