Members Policy & Code of Conduct


1. Purpose

This Policy and Code of Conduct (“Code”) establishes the professional and ethical standards for all members, participants, contractors, and guests (“Members”) within this community.

Our community is hosted on Mighty Networks (Mighty Software, Inc.), and participation requires compliance with:

  • This Code of Conduct.

  • Mighty Networks’ Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.

The objectives of this Code are to:

  • Promote fair rights in online education.

  • Uphold an open, safe, and peaceful global society.

  • Ensure a professional and secure environment for collaboration, learning, and discussion.


2. Core Values

  • Equality & Non-Discrimination: Members have equal rights to participate regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, or identity.

  • Safety & Dignity: This community prioritises the safety of community members, vulnerable groups, ensuring respectful engagement at all times.

  • Peaceful Collaboration: Members must support constructive dialogue, reject violence or intimidation, and act in ways that foster trust and openness.

  • Professional Integrity: Members are expected to behave with honesty, transparency, and respect for others.

3. Prohibited Conduct

3.1 Harassment, Grooming & Exploitation

  • Harassment, intimidation, stalking, or unwanted advances are strictly forbidden.

  • Grooming — deliberate attempts to build trust for the purpose of manipulation, exploitation, or abuse — is prohibited. This includes:

    • Encouraging secrecy in communications.

    • Attempting to move discussions to unmonitored or private channels without consent.

    • Exploiting mentorship, authority, or trust for sexual, financial, or personal gain.

  • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or hate speech of any form is prohibited.


3.2 Confidentiality, Information Security & Cyber Conduct

  • Members must not share classified, proprietary, or personal information without proper authority.

  • Members must not engage in:

    • Malware distribution, phishing, or cyber intrusion.

    • Circumventing security controls, encryption, or privacy measures.

  • Members are individually responsible for limiting their own exposure online, including use of:

    • Multi-factor authentication (MFA).

    • Strong, unique passwords.

    • Encryption for sensitive communications.

    • Regular device and software updates.

  • The community and platform provider do not accept liability for personal cybersecurity negligence.

3.3 Platform Compliance

  • By joining, Members agree to Mighty Networks’ terms, including:

    • Content licensing for materials posted.

    • Prohibitions on illegal content, hate speech, harassment, and sexualized content involving minors.

    • Automated monitoring and enforcement measures applied by Mighty Networks.

4. Reporting & Complaints

4.1 Internal Reporting

  • Members may report breaches of this Code by email to compliance *AT* qsecdef.com.

  • Reports will be:

    • Acknowledged within 2 working days.

    • Handled confidentially and impartially.

    • Escalated to disciplinary panels or external authorities if required.

4.2 Grooming & Safety Concerns

  • Concerns about grooming, harassment, or exploitation can be reported directly via the Online Safety Support Line [insert secure contact link/email].

  • Anonymous reporting is permitted. Retaliation against complainants is strictly prohibited.

  • Possible sanctions for breaches include:

    • Verbal or written warnings.

    • Suspension or termination of membership.

    • Restriction of platform access.

    • Referral to Mighty Networks and/or law enforcement where required.

6. Acknowledgement

By participating, Members confirm that they:

  • Support fair rights in online education and align with the principles of an open, peaceful global society.

  • Will maintain professional standards of conduct and respect the dignity and safety of all.

  • Accept that violations may result in disciplinary action, removal, and referral to Mighty Networks or legal authorities.


Any recommendations of changes to this agreement are welcome via the support channel.
