VP of Quantum Systems and Solutions
Dr. Florian Preis is VP of Quantum Systems and Solutions at Quantum Brilliance GmbH, where he drives the development and application of compact, room-temperature quantum accelerators for high-performance and edge computing. A theoretical physicist by training, with a research background in quantum gravity and gauge/gravity duality at TU Wien, he brings deep expertise in hybrid quantum-classical systems, having previously led automation projects and served as a Quantum Ambassador at IBM. At Quantum Brilliance, he focuses on real-world applications of quantum technologies—including in cybersecurity and defense—by enabling deployable, scalable quantum solutions that integrate seamlessly into secure and decentralized environments.
QB’s tech creates an opportunity for mass deployment of a huge clusters of quantum accelerators, enabling the use of quantum computing in ways never seen before.
Large scale, interconnected quantum accelerators will be capable of addressing complex systems of systems, such as molecular dynamics, leading to anticipated advances in battery technology, industrial catalysts, drug discovery, and many more.
